Growing a Business

Every week we gather to take a look at what it means to be an entrepreneur, not just the business challenges, but also what it means to be an entrepreneur from a personal perspective.

This week we discussed different strategies to grow your business. These are the top 3 insights we got from our audience and moderators:

  1. Be Intentional About your Key Metrics
In order to know where you are going, you have to know where you’re at as of today, if not, how are you going to measure your growth? What are those key metrics that will show growth? Do you actually know what you should be measuring?
  2. Build a Community
We won’t get tired of repeating this, community is everything! The best way to grow your business is to understand your customers. Once you make them feel understood and your main focus, they become loyal customers. There’s nothing more valuable than loyal customers, and the best way to do this is to give without expecting anything in return. People know when you’re only doing something for the money.
  3. Build a Company Culture
Building a community is not only important for your customers, it starts within your company. Building a company culture will set you up for success. The more aligned your employees are with your target audience, the more they will be able to connect with them, which will translate into attracting not just any customer but the right customers.
